Pastor Virginia Cover

Pastor Virginia Cover is the Interim Pastor at St John.  She holds a Master of Divinity from The Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Shepherd University in Music K-12.  She previously served as Interim Pastor at Christ Lutheran Church in Linglestown, Senior Pastor of Grace Lutheran in Camp Hill, Assistant to the Bishop in the Lower Susquehanna Synod, and Pastor of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mechanicsburg. Pastor Cover lives with her two school-age children in the Harrisburg area.

Position Opening- Organist

St John Lutheran Church seeks an organist to accompany principal services, festivals, and the adult vocal choir. Approx. 15hrs/week, salary negotiable, based on qualifications and experience. Church experience desired. Sundays, Holy Days, and a weekly Sunday morning rehearsal before worship. Serve on a team with those who lead other ensembles, including non-traditional.
