Central PA Food Bank – We deeply appreciate your generosity. Your kindness touches thousands of lives, providing a place for neighbors to turn for food when faced with impossible decisions. Thank You!
To Kathy Bixler and Lisa McDowell, The convalescent closet has been cleared out and decluttered. There are items available for our members and their friends. (1) cane (1) portable toilet, (1) toilet riser (1) scooter (2) sets of crutches (1) set of arm crutches (4) shower seats (7) walkers (1) walker with a seat (1) wheelchair. Contact the church office if you would like to borrow any the items.
Thank you to the Support Committee, headed by Scott McDowell, for their behind the scenes work in our church recently. They set up those beautiful luminaries (in freezing temps!) guiding us on Christmas Eve. They also helped clean out and organize the outdoor shed. They are working on improving the security and safety of our building, a large task! If you would like to lend a helping hand, consider joining them. First Tuesdays at 6:30 pm.
GIFT CARDS for those who are food insecure Nov 2025 - THANK YOU to everyone who responded to the call for gift cards to help those who are food insecure! Your support was very generous! We received $1,855 in gift cards which we divided between the Mt Holly Food Bank and the South Middleton School District Families we were given to support.

2025 ANNUAL CHICKEN BBQ - We raised over $1700 from the Annual Chicken BBQ and all will be donated to Central PA Food Bank. We donated 15 leftover dinners to the fire station in Boiling Springs too. Many thanks to all who helped through donations, selling tickets, working at the event, and buying chicken!!
THE SALVATION ARMY – Thank you so much for your donation to the Carlisle Salvation Army. Throughout the year, many thousands of our friends and neighbors throughout Cumberland County come to the Salvation Army for help and support. LWR QUILTS & KITS MINISTRY - St. John Shipment for LWR has been packed and delivered to the New Windsor, MD warehouse. This year (2024), we sent 125 School Kits, 47 Personal Care Kits, 56 Baby Care Kits, and 40 Quilts. Thank you to everyone who gave so generously all the items that made this shipment possible.
